They do love their money-making "crackdowns" on import enthusiasts. And then they cite some self-important BS like:
"Well the reason we ticket these cars is that most of the aftermarket parts are not DOT approved and are thus a danger to everyone else on the road. We're looking out for the safety of the common law-abiding motorist."
As if an exhaust is gonna cause all of our cars to explode near minivans filled with children, pregnant women, and baby pandas. I'm still waiting for them to "crackdown" on theft, rape, and murder. I'm not holding my breath though.
