Its just hard to fish there. Too much activity going on. Try fountainhead.. its like 5-10 minutes from burke lake.

 

looks like the bass are all spawned out over here. They are out of there beds. Time for some action!

 

Ill be heading to a low-pressure lake this weekend. I went out the other day just to toss out a few casts to see if I could draw anything on a spinnerbait bite and I saw a bunch of baby bass everywhere.
Hopefully this weekend will be good! Ill be tossing lures while I hook up live bait for my gf.

went out just about everyday on the weekend to the pond at trinity center. Saturday was decent, caught a dozen but were small. Sunday before it rained fished before it rained and they were slamming on topwater. Caught a 3lb'er as soon as the buzzbait hit the water. Monday was good later in the day. Caught a few off baby minus 1 in Chart and black/blue jigs. It was a great weekend to fish!

 

I got to fish a couple ponds in C'ville this weekend, fish are definatly spawned out, millions of fry everywhere!! Caught 2 nice pigs in some neighborhood off stone rd, both right on the verge of 4lbs then about 30 1-2lbers in pond right down the street, practically everyother cast was catching. C'rigged powerworm fished really slow was the ticket this weekend with water temp in the high 70s to low 80s.

 

ive always wanted to learrn to bass fish since i was little but no one taught me i love fishing for bream with cane polls and for catfish id go fishing with someone if they can teach me

 

im down for a meet at burke lake, the area i live in is the tits for fishing. i got like 6 lakes and like 4 ponds within 3 miles of me needless to say, burke is the shit

 

Fished at the pond thursday and caught at least 15. Caught a nice 4lb just cruising on by. They were mostly deep and a bit slow. Plastics FTW!
