Was wondering if there are any People on here that fish mainly LM Bass. Gets bored sometimes fishing by yourself even though you catch fish.

There are so many ponds overhere in the Centreville/Chantilly area that have great fishing spots. They are in there beds now! The big onessssssss

I have yet to find someone that knows there stuff without supervision.

we went fishing yesterday fun as shit but only caught one. a small one. but still fun

 

I bass fish all year round, here in burke and springfield most ponds are spawned out already. I have caught quite a few huge pigs this year and more on the way.

 

Is burke lake good? will there be bigger ones later?

 

Burke Lake is over pressured, to many people jog the trails which turns fish towards the deeper holes. And when fishing is good, theres always lots of people beating the banks which makes them more weary as well. There is also an abundance of shad/perch for the big ones to feast on in the deeper, unfishable by land waters!!

The big ones are there all year long they dont dissapear. They just move deeper as the temps rise, feeding slows but is still happening you just have to be patient. They will then start to come to the shallows closer to fall for one last big feeding before the winter, when the go deep again and feeding becomes practicly null.

Haven't been fishing since I moved from California. Still have all my rods and reels.

 

I TRY to bass fish but haven't caught anything worthy of speaking about. Does a 11 inch bluegill count?? Haha. Where are all these ponds in centreville/chantilly? I wanna try some out. I'm getting tired of fishing at fountain head looking for that one largemouth in that HUGE lake. Maybe we should all get together and go fishing one day.
