2. springs on stock struts do ride like shit, even if your shocks aren't blown. none of mine wer blown on my mitsubishi and it rode like shit on stock struts.
3. I'd rather spend the more money for better quality than to go the cheap way out. suspension is the one thing you don't want to half ass and go cheap on.

Depends on the car.
Sway bars for an accord are $400, no way around that.
Brakes? For a cheaper upgrade that I"m looking at $200 for calipers and roughly $100 in rotors.
so I'm already over your $650 with just those 3
thats where you guys are lost, most people are brand whores and assume they need the "right shit" as people claim you can use any parts that are available even if its a sway bar from an 89 el camino if the shoe fits wear it im not claiming my suspensin and braking system came together over night but i am claiming my entire project hasent cost me over 2k because i do it the smart way and also i do all my own work i pay no one to turn my wrenches
