Wow, you are very lucky that your not hurt alot worse then you are. Without a jacket at 70 mph I'd expect the damage to be much worse. Your mistake was probably grabing at that front brake way to fast and not allowing the weight to transfer up front first. Also, you mentioned the road was sandy, so that probably didnt help. Anyways, I hope you feel better, and heal up fast.

Crashing with no gear sucks big ass. Make sure u get NON STICK bandages, trust me the worst part of road rash is taking those fucking bandages off. Good luck.

Maybe u dislocated your shoulder, would definitely get a second opinion. Keep the bandages clean and after it's almost healed put some aloe juice from an aloe plant. For less pain when takin off bandages wet it with some sterile water so it wont stick to the skin when removing the bandages. I bet u will ride wit gear next time
