HELP: 70mph in 5th at 4000rpm

HELP: 70mph in 5th at 4000rpm
So i put in new gsr in my car and installed lightweight flywheel and clutch, when im in 5th gear doing about 70 75 im at 4000rpm..... any clue why that could be or does that sound right?

That is right around where it should be. Nothing is wrong a GSR transmission is really short, which is why it is good from acceleration. If you want something that is better for highway travel with longer gears get a LS transmission.

70 mph in 5th gear yielding 4000 grand is about right with your transmission...Do not waste your time getting a new transmission! Just change your 5th gear to an LS gear...The LS 5th is longer so your rpm's will not be as high and you will still have the the low gears (1-4) for acceleration.
