You've got that backwards. Higher octane gas is less explosive.

there HAD to be something wrong with the gas you got from mark. maybe water? maybe alcohol? maybe some additive? maybe it's just cuz it was "yamaha" gas that you put in your honda?? you know you can't mix that stuff...

actually, technically speaking, he's kind of right. there's just alot more to it than just what's more explosive than another. there's alot of other factors, but he is "kind of" correct.

the only thing that "high octane" REALLY referrs to is the anti-knock ability of the fuel. i'm not going to go into it in depth.
