Default Battery question.....

Today I just bought a new battery for my bike, its an Energizer (yeah, I didn't think they made bike batteries either) and I was just wondering which brands you guys use. The battery is currently charging and requires me to add the electrolyte fluid to it before charging/installation. After I bought it, one of my riding buddies told me that batteries of this kind are crappy. Anyone have any info on this?

The battery for the 06 is the same as the 05 04 03 and so on most bike batterys are the same. I dont think it really matters I had to buy one like that for my jety ski I couldnt wait to go out so I filled it up and tried it it started so I just let the stator charge it..IDK if that is good but oh well

uh, there's LOTS of different batteries for bikes. wet cell, sealed (maintenance free), gell, etc, and an ass-ton of different sizes.

i use yuasa... period. cheap batteries don't generally last very long, and a dead battery can take out other parts of your charging system.

energizer's aren't that bad though.

Yuasa here also. Just bought one for the TL. Just bought the bike and the guy said he never changed it. So i figured it was worth the extra coin for a nice maint. free battery.
