was the throwout riding the pressure plate, or was there some play?

while installing this new clutch, i found that mine was setup too tight: ie - lead to premature clutch failure. thankfully - that $350 bellhousing came with an adjustable pivot

I've never had a problem with a spec in any LSx car

I have adjustable firewall adjusters on both of my cars, so I have it set perfectly. There was no extra wear on the TOB when I took it out and no squeeking at idel.

what are these guys using? stage 2 with 098709-87870987 pounds boost? if the clutch and engine are not matched it'll never work.

i'll let you kno if the stage 3+ doesn't hold to the rated torque

David did you install your Liberty Input shaft yourself, if so did it come w/ instructions to shim it properly? If not where did you get it installed?

Yeah in almost anything I ever see Spec's last a few monhs tops. But I've seen domestics have problems with them, on a truck forum I'm on I've seen plenty of people have problems with them. In the Volvo's they're absolute nightmares, I'd never ever touch one.

That car should be sweet, some real bite to go with the visual bark.
