EVO's aren't DSM's by the way. And to the original poster, I can understand you were just having fun in your friend's new and relatively powerful car, just don't be too surprised when something breaks soon. But it's your friend's car, and the bottom line is that he can do with it as he pleases, including letting you drive it if he so desires.

why is everyone prickin on this guy? if my roomate wasnt worried about his new evo and gave me the chance to tear ass I WOULD!! and more than half of you would do the same.. his roomie obviously bought the car to shit on slower ones he just doesnt realize what a break in period could do for him..

ask him to let me drive his evo.. ill show him more since he has seemingly never felt such power..


but on another note i would have done it on the track seeing as there are alot of stupid pigs around (hampton /NN police) and i mean stupid...

I totally understand that... I only wanted to drive it once... To compare it to my friends 91' GSX down in Fl. "running 20 lbs." This car is alot faster IHMO...

As for the statement i dont get it... Trust me, I do... Also the other roomies read this thread... Which they thought it was a good laugh... "opinions of members dont really match" How ever how can people get all pissy about a car they dont own? But the roomies brought up a good point... My first post makes it sound worse than the actual deed... Shifts where around 5k and yes 140 mph was obtained... No hard swerving or anything of that nature... Def. alot nicer than how my roomie drives his car now... "but its not my car, so blah blah blah"

How ever I do have an issue w/ him driving it... He went from a honda to an Evo 9... At first he was ok. Driving slow and respouncable. But now he's tryn to run people around town. Not a good move. Again IMO... He has told me about how he ran w/ a pack of bikes, and has attempted some drifting in the rain... "think hes doing that becaues its what Im passionate about" Boys skills are very limited. So if you happen to see a Evo 9 running around do me a favor dont bother w/ him. He has very bad habbits from tail gating to road rage. "just a heads up to you all" How ever if ya happen to see him out at any meets, talk to him and try to reiderate teh same things I do.. "tail gating, control, time and place for everything"
