also it does look like the Qatar 350Z.
does anybody know who these"Qatar Boys" are?thats what me and my buddies have been calling them. they are middle eastern guys that own at least a red roush mustang, a black twin turbo supra and DID own this red Z. i remember its black 5 spoke wheels. i met 2 of them at RPM on day b4 a circuit cross at VIR which was taking place that weekend. the supra was getting work done for VIR. they were nice guys. i hope they dont try to shut down RPM or sumthing after a freak accident like this. im sure alligations and atacks will be coming from everywhere and the whole tuner world will prolly be attacked in RVA and VA in general after so many recent deaths

Does anyone else have any more information? I saw on the news they were saying the vehicle somehow ended up in the other lane. As mentioned, it was a customer's car, which suck.
I know that its shitty for the news to acuse it to be the aftermarket 'modifications', but if he did just put a turbo kit on the vehicle, I wonder if something was in fact not right? Also, isnt that a 35mph zone right there? That doesnt really look like even a 45mph crash.
Please dont mistake this as an attack, Im not trying to hurt feelings, Im just saying.

Yea, I would be curious for more info, seems like he was turning around and got broadsided, but I dunno.
It sucks, he was a cool dude for sure, always helpful and a great guy from what I knew of him.

A Richmond man who loved cars died in a fiery Broad Street crash that blocked traffic for most of the morning.
James Edward Turner III, 35, died at the wheel in a crash that stunned onlookers and involved a collision with a truck in the 4700 block of West Broad Street.
The wreck occurred almost directly in front of Richmond Performance Modifications, known as R.P.M., at 4705 W. Broad. Turner's family said last night that he had worked at R.P.M. for several years.
"Cars were his passion," said Turner's father, James E. Turner Jr. of Richmond.
Turner III was married and had two children, his father said. He graduated from Kennedy High School, which has merged with Armstrong High School.
Richmond police kept both directions of Broad Street closed from Westmoreland Street to Staples Mill Road for more than four hours after the crash to clean up the scene and investigate.
Richmond fire crews responded at 9:19 a.m. to reports of a car on fire and a person trapped inside, said Richmond fire spokesman Lt. Michael Oprandy. Authorities later found a person dead inside a red Nissan sports car, which had collided with a white Ford F-350 pickup truck.
Oprandy said authorities haven't determined whether the victim died as a result of the crash or the fire. The investigation is continuing.
Turner's father said authorities have not informed the family about what may have caused the crash. But some news reports said police are looking into modifications made to the car Turner drove.
A representative of R.P.M. could not be reached last night for comment.
Witnesses said the truck had just pulled out of a fast-food restaurant into the westbound lanes of Broad when the collision occurred. Police said they were unable to verify the details surrounding the crash.
The two vehicles ended up smashed together in the eastbound lanes of Broad, and wreckage was strewn more than 100 feet in both directions.
A company Web site describes R.P.M. as "Richmond's Ultimate Discount Autosalon Superstore, established in 1985" and says it offers an array of customizing options for high-performance vehicles, and performance-enhancement elements such as fuel injection and nitrous-oxide systems.
