Honestly, if you're looking for something fun, easy to work on, EXTREMELY reliable, cheap to repair/mod...go with a miata.

I had to spend ~15Gs to be able to have as much fun with four doors. I still plan on buying another miata, probably for a DD.

edit: and you won't have to swap it to have fun. All you really need is a nice coilover setup, some good summer tires, and a good front sway bar.

good starter car, blow the motor up and throw a klze in it with a 75 shot and blow fukn ricers around here all day and make some money out of it because most of them are too dumb to even realize what the diff is between the regular usdm motors and the jdm ones lol

your m5 is definitely more fun than your miata was. not as fast, but definitely more fun.

Waaaait, you mean the miata was more fun than the m5?

I guess I agree, they're definitely entirely different types of fun though.

I said what I said based on the experience that my friends have with their cars that range from 10 to 20+ years that are Honda's and run great.

I have a Honda and although it runs, the rest of the car falls apart.

What's your point?

Well the man didn't exactly put it out there as to why my "advice sucks" so I assumed it was cause I give a reason as to why they are good. I just simply stated that based on personal experiences of people I know who happen to own Honda's that are good in every way. Of course I'm sure there are Honda's out there that I have seen that either don't work worth beans or are falling apart.
