The miata forum claims other wise about the BP. When the block is decked and head shaved is when they become "interference". This is per N/A threads that I've read at www.miata.net

Try the mazda forums while you're at www.msprotege.com they encompass all the mazda cars but specialize in proteges for the most part.

i have had two that didnt fuck shit up, and one that did. so if one did it....then i list that as an interference engine.


i would rather have someone paranoid then overconfident
