Minus the Ford emblem, of course.
I don't think he'd be asking us if it's SOHC or DOHC if he had the motor you posted SPIC.

I'M SORRY I DIDN'T HAVE THE WRITING ON THE VALVE COVER MEMORIZED. I'M SUCH A FAILURE. I'M GOING TO GO KILL MYSELF NOW.

It's not like Manny know what an OHC engine looks like.

I am depressed now. I was going to race SlowV6's cavy and whoop his ass, but now I am not sure if the protege can get out of it's own way.

to answer the first question (even tho u know what motor it is now), if u look at the timing cover u can tell if its covering one big cam gear (sohc) or 2 (dohc)

one cam gear=on cam we aren't talking bout a bmw. it's a ford product therefore incapable of engineering a timing system like that. now what was that bout someone shuttin up?

Huh? You did nothing but prove that not all DOHC cars have two cam gears which is exactly what fc735 was saying.

but all dohc motors do have two cam gears. only some don't have both gears driven by the timing belt but it would still be apparent that there r two gears.
