i am about to buy a car with salvage titel and i find find out if dmv will let me put it on the road. anybody know how this salvage title thing works? DMV has no info on their site.

It must be re-inspected and deemed safe for virginia highways. The title will always be branded though, so resale is not really an option

 

Is there anyway of getting it off the title? Even if it's on carfax?

so figuratively speakin how much would u pay for a 02 wrx with 41180 on the clock with a salvage title. when kbb is 16180 or somthin round there? ionno if it will make diffrence but it has 3 inch hks shit all the way back from the turbo. just asking cuz i got one in my driveway .......

apparantly it was smacked but it is fine now minus a volk rim and a fender corner light

I don't know man. I'd honestly talk to someone who deals with that stuff. Maybe Frankie Dissomon(sp?) I know he's had a couple come his way. Or maybe a body shop in general.
