think what you want, I'm just stating facts. I know of two different people with MACh1s that ran a 12.8 on drag radials, stock. One was John Joseph that works at Hall Ford body shop the other was Jim Sumner (aka the Dent Dr.) When I ran my 13.3, that was with a 2.1 60'. A 1.9 60' is capable on stock tires... With that said, a 12 is easily realistic with different tires.

you're right, why go to the track to spend $40 (between entrance fees and gas) to run on a 90 degree day with 2309843098% humidity. Yeah, that'll improve a time.

We arent professionals..

We dont race for money, we race for fun.. It isnt always about going the fastest, it about having fun..

Hell, if you find some 15 inch rims for yourself, I'll mount my BFG DR's on them and we can put them on at the track.. probally 5-8 passes left on them..

And I'm not doubting you bitch.. I'm saying lets go do it faggot..

Well it's like you use that shit as an excuse. Ok when I ran my blistering 8.9 @ 82.5 I didn't say one thing about the weather even though it was 80+ degrees and like 70% humidity. Yes there are reasons I didn't run better times and that's one. Why can't you just go to the track and have fun? You don't have to always go to the track to improve your times. You can go now and get more seat time and maybe by the time October-November roll around you can cut better lights or shorter 60's which will ultimately improve your ET.

I even remember when you wanted to run me last year you said you didn't wanna do it when it was warm out. I guess you figured when it was cooler it'd only be cooler on your side of the street. My car runs better in cooler weather too. Running them both in warm weather is the same as running them both in warm weather. They're gonna perform equally the same just better when it's cooler.

I may. Like I said today I just gotta know well in advance. I probably wouldn't be able too for a while though.

Brock would, but oh nevermind it's gonna be warm outside.

I hear ya' and you're right. I guess I just have a complex when it comes to running in the heat. I know that if I go to the track and don't improve my time, I'm going to be pissed. That's why I don't waste my time during the summer months. Is it stupid? Yes. Would more practice make me faster? Yes. I guess it's just something about me though. I'll try to cut it out.

I'm shooting for a 13 second timeslip bone stock in a neon in the heat, since cold weather does NOTHING for my car since shitty dodge made the computer lower the boost with lower temps liek a gay.

Brock you've already proven the car is quick. You ran a 13.3 @ 104. So what if you don't get a better time because guess what. You have the slip to prove that you HAVE run a 13.3 @ 104, so what gives?

Honestly thinking about all the factors from when I ran weather was the last thing to pop into my mind.

because there is plenty of room for improvement. That's all I'm saying. I'd rather have that 13.2 or 13.1 second time slip. Who wouldn't? Another reason I'm so hung up on weather is because on a hot and humid day, it honest to god feels like I'm draging an anchor behind my car. On the other hand, on a cool night the car feels nasty. At least thats what my "seat-o-meter" tells me.

I found a intersting thread on mach1registy.com that is fueling my quest for a better time.

http://www.mach1registry.org/forums/...ight=12s+stock

seems to be a discussion here, but the general concensus agrees.

I'll go to the track to have fun, but ultimately I'd like to improve. Wouldn't you?

Werd. Well my car feels strong as a bitch after that exhaust install. I bet it's gonna be even more fun when it's cold. Shawn is rode in it. He liked it.
