Return of the pony cars
I personally am very confident that the Camaro is going to absolutely destroy the others in just about any aspect. The Mustang is just...a Mustang, the Challenger is going to be a 4,100 lbs fucking boat, and noone's too sure what it's power is going to be, but you can guarantee it's going to get awful fuel economy and be avoided by many for that reason alone...not too mention it's still a Dodge so reliability is always in question.
As far as a Mustang just being a Mustang, all I'm gonna say is GT500. Dodge and Chevy both have a lot of catching up to do already.
I touched it when they weren't looking

I have respect for all the pony cars alike. But me being a Diehard Chevy fan i have a very special place in my heart for camaros. I've owned two and would own as many as i possible could if i had the money.
So you're implying a car that hasn't even been built yet, is going to be better than the GT500? That's bold...
Also, since the Camaro is going to be built on the Zeta platform, it's going to be anything but light and will be within a stones throw of the GT500's weight. Not to mention, what is GM going to use for a power plant? I'll bet my right testicle that a LS7 will not be put between the fenders of a Camaro. With that said, what are they going to do for ~500BHP? Additionally, if GM does produce an engine comparable in power to the GT500's, Ford has already claimed their horsepower will be upped via a pulley swap.
I will be waiting for the new Camaro's to hit the sales floor in 2009. I however, will not be buying one the first year or first few years. I'll probably wait till they hopefully have a 45th Anniversary Edition Camaro in 2012 to match my 35th Anniversary and 25th Anniversary.
Damn, if ya'll don't want to waste your money the Challenger is where it is at. They all ready said that for the first 2 years will be a limited release with a real no bs hemi. Give GM enough time and once again the Camaro will be belly up

No, it's not some JDM joke you don't know about. More than likely, the Camaro, along with Challenger will weight 289343 pounds, and have 83347390403 horsepower, just like they did in the 60s and 70s.
Toyotas, Hondas and Nissan?! Ha! Thanks for your efforts of attempting to label me, but you should best leave that to someone with a clue.
