Orange peel yeah...i guess could be from rushing, but ive yet to encounter that problem in 6.5 years yet.
Factors include:
Tempature outside
Surface prep
Heavy coats
Air Pressure
Too many coats of base causes base texture which in return does the same to the clear
Air Flow...
And more.

This is all new news to me, I have had 3 friends use Carl and none of them had a problem. But this was like 2 years ago, so maybe things have gone downhill since then. Bummer though, I feel your pain, I haven't had my daily driver in over a year, minus 3 weeks that it ran here and there! It is a painful PAINFUL thing. Good luck getting it back...

My friend just got his prelude painted there. He gave carl a 10 day dealine. He got it done in 10 days, and it looks dope. You just have to stay on his case about getting it done, or let him know when you need it done by.

ive gone up to his shop everyday for 7 months now and gave him shit everyday. my car still isnt done, its the wrong color sittin there getting dirtier and dirtier, and they killed the battery by leaving the keys in so many times. my car will never be as clean again. its layered in dust inside and out. 3 grand to paint my car the wrong color and let it sit in the corner in peices. oh, and if thats not enoughf, ive walked in several times and cought his help reving my motor to its depressed limits. sons of bitches.
