Thats a bunch of shyt right there. How can you have a cars 50th Anniversary when they stopped producing the damn thing? You can't. Just like the friggin' Vette. They never made an '83 Vette yet they had a 40th Anniversary! Bullshit.

Any car maker that does that is just downright deceiving the public. The messed up thing about the whole thing is that they actually get away with it. It is nothing more than false advertisement at that point.

I also see Chevrolet making a limited production run and the price being higher than balls on a giraffe. Like they did with the repop '69 Camaro bodies. Only a limited number (I think only 69 of them) will ever be made from those molds. I hope I am wrong and they keep producing them though. (The 69 repops, that is).

At least Ford kept making the Mustang no matter how ridiculous looking the car was. They NEVER missed a year of production. Unlike Chevrolet.

you are the only person in the world who gives a shit. it's not "50th straight year of production", it's "50th anniversary".

Do they have a tranny to put in the RWD V6 version? If they have to engineer something new, thats only gonna add more the price as well.

You should be able to beat one easily, as heavy as they are and all. Vette owners should rejoice as well. This means they'll have to give them more power too so the Vette owners don't get pussy hurt over having more expensive/slower cars that the Camaro.

they will likely do what they did with the 4th gen; same tranny as the V8 with a different bellhousing and input shaft.

i know some of you are hellbent on it being $50,000 for a V6 with no defroster but they aren't dumb enough to price it out of the range of the people who are going to represent the balance of sales. it has to compete with the mustang which is what, 19,000 for a base model? expect it to be right around there with the Z priced a little higher than the GT.

I'm not hellbent on it. If they stick with the concept, I expect the V6 to start low-mid $20K's and the Z to come in at least $30K.

No sarcasm there. Adjusting for inflation your car would cost close to $30K now.
