honest thought on the srt4
The SRT-4 is an amazing car for the money IMO. Cheap, reliable, fast and even practical w/ 4 doors and a decent trunk.
My only complaint with them is that some of the owners seem the be dicks. They always wanna fly by me and show off their BOV when I'm just driving along minding my own business. (They probally assume I have the 2.0 SS/SC model, not the 2.4 SS......if only they knew they didn't make supercharged white Cobalts) But all cars have their owners like that, so I'm not hating on all SRT-4 owners, I'm just saying that they seem to give me the most grief on my usual commute. I've met quite a few cool SRT drivers too though.
As for comparing it to the WRX, depends on your preferences, and how deep your wallet is if your eyeing the STI model of the Impreza.

Being called dumb though bothered you as you went after it two times.
we were comparing the Srt-4 and wrx I simply used Subaru cause thats who makes the wrx, next time I'll remember to be more specific since you cannot keep up.
Once again back to the SRT-4 and WRX debate not the BMW option you pulled out of your ass.
I will say dollar for dollar and stock for stock an SRT-4 is worth what you pay, where as a WRX is all hype and your just paying for the name. -EDIT-it's for those people that want an STi but cannot afford it.
... dont take the internet to serious. Besides if we talked about a Legacy GT, it would be in a different ball game. That car is very nice.
Actually if you would stop being lazy and go back and read the first post that even brought up a WRX...it was a post by a person other than me....actually I didn't chime in with the Subaru talk till about the 3rd or 4th page....

SubieChico.......good one
My bf had a 04 black SRT-4 his was stage 3, it was well worth the money spent cheap and well built. Never had a problem with it, even when he would take to the track on the weekends and be a daily driver. As already said the only inconvience the car had was no cruise control, but we could deal with that. And the gauges are grey not white lol
I love mine, I bought my 05 in dec of 05 with 4 miles on it. Im about to hit 31k and I love every minute of it. Never has given me any problems except a busted power steering line. Two things that I dont like about it thou, a shitty warrenty, and everyone reminds me its a neon.
Even though I have a I <3 my neon decal on my windsheild.

SRT4's are very torquey cars and have tons of potential. Who cares if it has manual rear windows? Do you sit in the back of your own car? Ok, so Dodge decided to cheap out and put manual windows in the back and not put in cruise control...at least it has power windows up front. Evo 8's don't have cruise control either...does that make them shitty cars?

Also, they didn't put power windows in the back because the window can only roll down about 8". That and the car is based off the neon, an entry level car...it never had power windows in the back and they were not willing to spend money on developing hardware for something so trivial for a car only made 26,000 in 3 years.
