honest thought on the srt4
I just think its rediculous to compare cars IMO, so many enthusiast out there, they'll pic what they like......but actually those gauges are not white, in the SRT-4 theyre gray, so no white face.
Im just not a type of guy to argue with people about who or what car is better. Iv driven many a different car working Valet in Va Beach and Norfolk for 4 years. I love mostly all of them, and if a customer came to me saying how you like the ride, i would reply its a nice car or truck. Im not going to be biased on theyre decision to own that vehicle.

I appreciate cars for the time and money put into them. Whether it is a Z06 or a Pinto anything has potential to be great. I was just replying to the pp about comparing them to the WRX. I wasn't the one who originally compared but I had to put in my 2 cents. I personally would never own a SRT-4.....that doesn't mean I am calling it a crappy car......shit I personally wouldn't own a Infinity G35 either. To each their own. Everyone has their own taste.
How are you going to say that they have the same build quality and then in another sentence say the WRXs interior is crap. I would take a WRX interior over a neon interior any day. The white faced gauges make me wanna puke, the steering wheel is ugly as hell and everything in the dash just looks cheap. I never liked WRXs until my husband got one and I will never own anything other than a Subaru again because of the quality....but that is just me. Subaru does not make anything without the bells and whistles (except the "Tuner Ready" TR, which still has power windows, power locks, and keyless entry. Not to mention Subarus Safety ratings. So the build quality is the same?? If I pay more for a car, personally I would like to think that the quality of it would be better than that of a cheaper car.
Build quality as in quality of the engines trans and stuff...drivetrain to be exact. As well as how the body is put together and how the doors feel when they shut...I mean shit the WRX doesnt even have a frame around its windows when you open the door how do you expect it to seal perfectly. Id say they are close to the same level of over all build quality. Each skimps in different places but they both skimp.
You can think what you want deoesn't bother me your dumb...
Also Subaru is real cheap on their fucking radios those things are horrible...each car has its positives and negatives but the extra cost for the subaru is not worth it. Oh and a neon comes with keyless entry and power locks. The dash on the subaru is plastic just like the neon dash...no different.

1. I have never had any problems with my doors on either of my cars "not sealing" as you say. It doesn't rattle with the window up or down and when it rains never once had I had a drop come in my car. Where doesn't it seal...you tell me??
2. To say Subaru in general has horrible radios is a rediculous comment. Mine is a 120 watt stereo system that kicks ass for a stock radio IMO....and I am used to aftermarket head units with aftermarket speakers.
3. You find me a Subaru owner that says Subaru isn't worth it for the extra money.
4. There are different types of plastic and most car dashes have plastic. A BMW has plastic accents on the dash........is it nicer than mine....uh yessir.....but they are both made out of plastic

And finally 5....I am not going to say Subaru>Neons because that would be a false statemet. SRTs are plenty capable of out performing a Subaru I will never once not admit to that......but I will say that in stock form (performance not considered) when it comes to build quality inside and out, and safety ratings...any Subaru>Neons.
P.S.

Thanks for calling me dumb jackass I never made my post personal but I see you were quick to be childish.

It obviously does bother you or else you wouldn't have reply'd or called me dumb

Being called dumb though bothered you as you went after it two times.
As for your little numbered comments.
1- give it time
2- we were comparing the Srt-4 and wrx I simply used Subaru cause thats who makes the wrx, next time I'll remember to be more specific since you cannot keep up.
3- I can name a few, but then it would go back and forth of "oh really"..."yah really" BS. I even in fact know one person who went from a wrx to a Srt-4 due to the power he was able to pull from an Srt-4. Besides if you wasted money on a car that provided hardly any extras you are going to try to justify it any way possible to avoid feeling you made a mistake.
4- Once again back to the SRT-4 and WRX debate not the BMW option you pulled out of your ass. Its the same kind of crappy plastic in both cars. You might find the shape of the plastic more appealing in the WRX but its no different than what is in an SRT-4... both honestly look like shit.
5- I will say dollar for dollar and stock for stock an SRT-4 is worth what you pay, where as a WRX is all hype and your just paying for the name. -EDIT-it's for those people that want an STi but cannot afford it.
Oh and heres 6... dont take the internet to serious. Besides if we talked about a Legacy GT, it would be in a different ball game. That car is very nice.

There have been a lot of cars with frameless windows, what does that have to do with anything? I used to have an 89 Suby wagon for a DD, and I never had sealing problems with the frameless windows, but it's really nice in the summer when you don't have a frame and the windows are rolled down.. Subaru actually took some heat for going to a conventional framed window on the new Impreza. Frameless windows don't have anything to do with quality at all, that's like saying Lexus taillights are poor quality because they're clear or something like that. It's just different.
I like my 6 disc in-dash (stock) CD changer. I like my resale value. I like that it's not FWD. I like it doesn't handle like a FWD car.

Resale value is nice and so is AWD...but buying new stock for stock the SRT-4 is still the best bang for your buck.
