here's what you need to know about evo's:
Evo 9 > Evo 8
5 speed > 6 speed
don't buy one that's been modified

they are really solid cars, very responsive, reliable, and handle well. only drawback is a cheap interior but i kinda like the 9's, especially the seats

Would you care to explain why.

It really depends on what the OP wants out of the car. High HP monster/drag car. Go with 8, big turbo upgrade 8/9. Stock turbo and bolt ons...9.

Nothing wrong with modified evos if the owner took care of it.

i mean do i really have to explain why?

99% of the time its been ragged
~90% of the time your buying someone else's problem.
it's definitely in his best interest to buy a stock one if he's at all concerned about reliability.

Depends on who owned it. I bought my Evo from a guy who worked at HKS. I thought it was a scam due to how cheap it was being sold at the time.

thanks guys, as far as buying your car i dont know about right now .. im kind of picky as well and 90,000 is just pushing it for me .. thanks, ill check out some evo forums in a bit and get into greater detail but you guys moslty touched up on everything i needed to know for now.. i see a blue evo with carbon fiber hood riding around all the time, stays in port warwick and goes to cnu i believe, super clean car..

as far as brakes go i can fix that myself and thanks for the output guys, ill make sure to check out that forum sage, ill PM within next couple weeks to a month if i decide to get further info on that evo.
