You're really infering quite a bit. Please show me where I said the focus is the only car that has recalls.

So, you agree that the focus is crap and there happens to be other cars that are even crappier.

 

Well from personal experience. I had an '02 Focus that I put about 40k miles on with dozens of 1/4 mile runs, decently modded (Intake/TB/Catback/Cams/ Short Throw/springs) I beat the ever loving shit out of that car and the only problem I ever had was a blown tire. And it's not like I really give a shit if people talk shit about foci (or ford for that matter), but I really wouldn't call them crap compared to other cars in it's class.

 

You're probably right, I'm just having fun with Focal XIV because he likes to get his panties in a twist when someone talks bad about Foci

 

I don't own a focus and could care less. I just get my "panties in a twist" when someones opinion is a derailed fact.

 

A buddy of mine has a SVT Focus and just put a vortec supercharger on it. Its not all the great, He has yet to put a intercooler on it, It puts about 2 cars on a stock SR20 but then about top of 3rd and beginning of 4th the gearing in the Focus starts to play a roll and the 240 caught up and slowly put about a car on him at about 110. Quick little turd.

 

So you're saying that a blown SVT Focus loses to a stock SR20 240SX by a car.

 

So a stock 150hp SR20 beat a 250ish hp 6spd focus? That's driver error.

 

A stock SR20DET makes over 200 easily. I think most are around 230-240.
