Focus people
Hey ladies and gents, just wanting to check into the car portion of this website, even though I may be more of a regular in the Cycle corner. Anyway, I got an 02 Focus HB with mild mods to it as well as the bike(s). I have heard about Focus groups or whatever out here but I am more interested in going on drive through Pungo then hanging out in a parking lot and dragging through the streets. Well post up!

i guess the velocitation from the r6 gives you the impression that the focus should be fast???

In the dickpuppets defense, focuses are just as fast as civics and 240's... dog ass slow. They also have rare models that are very fast, just like civics and 240's. They also have bolt on's and turbo kits that make people with slow cars feel faster, just like civic's and 240's. They are pretty ugly though, that I won't deny.

Yeah actually I can, although I can't provide the proof you desire. Mine was pretty fast and I beat plenty of 12 sec cars. There's a guy in carolina with a 10 sec turbo focus.

ZX2 bottom end CGI block with esslinger 4 bolt mains, O-Ringed deck, JE pistons, Crower rods, a moldex billet crank. ZX3 Roush WRC Head, with square ports and a much better port angle than stock, cosworth buckets, web cams and custom springs. It has a sheet metal intake, a 3" mustang throttle body, a custom Kiwi exhaust manifold and down pipe, Barnes oil dry sump, custom fuel rail, and a Weldon fuel pump. The Turbo is a T4with a tial waste gate and blow off. This is connected to a Quaif 6 spd trans with a tilton triple carbon clutch, with Sway-Away 300m axles, 935 CV’s connected to 2 15/10.5/28 MT slicks. The rear end is a custom Strange strut and brake assembly. One piece carbon Kevlar front end with a Jerry Bickle mount kit. Custom Bickle wheelie bars. Aluminum dash and door panels with Defi gauges and a sparco seat. This car is still a unibody.

And keep in mind, for the most part these are the motors that are orignially purchased with the car. Not like 99% of fast civics and 240's that have swapped motors from other models.
