Well thank you everyone for the support. I am most likely getting out of the ticket. I have a friend who is on the VA Beach Police department. He knows the officer who wrote the ticket. When the officer wrote the ticket I mentioned my friends name and he said to have the officer contact him before court stating I fixed the plate problem and he would take care of the ticket.

I also asked my friend last night about the plate being in the windshield and he stated that they have been writing tickets for that and they are holding up in court. He said that the law states the plate must be "ATTACHED" to the front of the car and being in the window doesn't count. I was going to try that like some had said but again, I don't want to pay $75.

I agree, I hate the front plate..but I don't feel like paying $75 for the plate. I leave for Japan in 3 months so I'll just put the plate on and register my car in PA when I get back. That way I don't have to deal with the front gay-ass looking plate again.
