As far as light out put, anything from 4-6,000 Kelvin would be sufficient.
That is exactly what i was thinking, those are the perfect tempts. If you go any more than 6k kelvin you are going to get more blue. 6k i think is the best because it has a good look and you still don't loose much clearity.

Retrofit HID's from a TSX, washer mod, and stock ballasts and hid bulbs from a TSX also equals money!

Oh yeah and also.............anything more than 5000k sucks. Without getting into a discussion over this, no other manufacturer for OEM HID's has a hid bulbs higher than the 5000k range. Pics above are 4100k bulbs from a TSX!

definately do a retro. i hated driving infont of my boy wit plug n play kit. not worth the money for the same amount of light, if not less(pnp). i compared my hid lights and my boys hid (pnp) kit. the difference is night n day.

00civichatch- your gonna be very dissapointed with that kit (if its a pnp kit). halogen reflectors and projectors cannot give off an even light beam. you get poor output with harsh glare.

why pay 100+ for a sorry ass pnp hid kit, when you can go out a get some silverstars halogen bulbs for cheaper. they are brighter and put out way more useable light.

heres some useful info
this vid shows how sorry a pnp kit is compared to the stock bulb. the stock halogen(left) actaully puts out more useable light. you can tell by the ground. also the glare is
then you have this kit which completly sucks, has hardly any useable light output
[IMG][/IMG]
not a lot a glare wit this kit but look at the light output.
compared to this.
[IMG][/[/IMG]
and hes 30ft away from the wall.
this pnp kit is 25ft from the wall.
[IMG][/IMG]
another retro pic no glare sharp even light beam. nice cut off. all useable light
[IMG][/IMG]
just thought id share some useful info wit yall. pnp ebay kits suck ass and blind everybody. spend the extra money and do it right. or spend less money and get silverstars. my .02
im out
