Another damn Ticket Thread: 93 in a 55
I wouldnt sell your computer I would sell your rims if you have any or put something back to stock if I were you just to make some cash. I also sold my integra that I was driving in and they thought that was a good thing. i have all kinds of cash in the bank and dont even really need a car right now but I want one I have had a car since I was 14. I am thining bmw, and luckily I got a good ass deal on my integra and then sold it and made a good amount of money off it. Maybe you should do the same? especially if you dont get jail time you just loose your license. Work somewhere you can walk or get a ride to and save save save the whole time you dont have a license. Just an idea thats what I am doing now.
you most likely will not goto jail, but don't expect to be driving until novemberish. you're gonna get hit with alot of community service too bro, i had 48 hours and it wasn't that bad. don't bother with getting a lawyer either, you're guilty the lawyer might get your sentence reduced a little or not at all, so it would be just a waste of money.
dude no matter what everyone tell you I am letting you know from personal experience from friday you want a lawyer. I came out so much better since I had one. Its just my 2 cents but good luck either way. when is your court date again?
Get a lawyer. You MAY come out better without one...but why risk it with something as serious as this.
I was pulled in for doing 67 in a 35 (32mph over)...reckless driving and a bunch of other crap thrown at me by the Park Police. I pissed him off because he asked, "Do you know what the speed limit its?" I said 35mph...he yelled at me and said NO, ITS 25MPH!". I responded, well the sign you're standing in front of (speed limit sign) says 35mph. I pulled over in FRONT of the sign not behind it...which was a 25mph zone.
He looked like a total idiot. Was it worth it, yeah, I think so.
Anyways, hired a lawyer, got the wreckless dropped, points dropped from a bunch to just 2 and nothing else. Paid $450 in fines, and $500 for the laywer. Was it worth it? I don't think I would have risked it for a few hundred bucks. The judge was having a bad day and hammering on people...so I figure I came out pretty well.
If you have a lenient judge you might get lucky...by why take that risk. Get a laywer, dress nice, be nice, be repetent and go from there. Been there done that don't want to do it again.
