Here is a speech i prepared for today:

I do not know why I was going 93 in a 55. I have no excuse for speeding. I’ve noticed a change in my life though. Before I received the ticket for such a serious offense I did not have a job and all I did with my life was drive around and hang out with friends thinking life was easy. After I received this ticket my parents took away my car, my license, especially my privilege to drive. I realized how important it is in the real world to have a license and a car and without those things I noticed that it will be very hard for me to find a nice job so I can pay for the things I want and do the things I want to do when I hang out with my friends. I am embarrassed to be here and I am ashamed of making my parents, and you your honor to sit with me here in this court room today because of a very foolish, ignorant and irresponsible way of driving. I am sorry for what I have done, it’s a real eye opener, and it will never happen again. Thank You!

If the speed limit is 55 or higher it's $5 per mile over, plus court costs (usually in the $35-$45 range I think).

i usually drive just slighty faster then what normal trafic is doing. I drive a Perl Yellow 3000gt and two days ago coming back from chesterfeild Town center i see a police TAILGATING me at 95mph on 85 south in a 60mph zone i think it was. so i switched lanes behind the SUV i was trying to pass, i didn't slow down or anything sence he didn't have his lights on. the Cop stayed on my ass and switched lanes to. at this point i'm having a heart attack because he could have easly clocked me over 100. the cop just stays on my ass then..................takes the next exit. talk about whoa. i figured it was a cop that has delt with my mom before. Shes the translator for the Brunswick and sometimes Greensville Courts and Sherif dep. My car hard to miss so he prolly knew it was me. i lucked out and from now on i'll just set the cruise at 80

 

Um, Some dude with a 99 SS got out of a 100 in a 55 with a speedo calibration. You know who it is.

 

well i was in court at 830 ....wehn 1230 rolled around i was the last one in the lobby waiting to go into the courtroom to talk to the judge...then i found out my officer wasnt there...well i pleaded guilty anyways and got a 350 dollar fine including court costs and 6months suspended license...she was going to dismiss the case but she said that 3 in a 55 is too serious to just dismiss...i was like ok thanx and left. i didnt get to give my speech either :-( im pissed at that....o well im saving it for next time....jk

 

sorry aobut ur luck pat..did she give u restricted for work or suspended all together? and it hgohut w/o the cop they had to drop it since there is noone to testify against u??
