all motor camero?
that camaro "joes" the white one being talked about in the forum... got pulled on last night... not to impressed... a gsr at 12psi pulled??? damn what would happen if the integ thats fully built turned it to 22psi? hey jeremy "forcedfeginteg" how about u tell them what went down last night.
I raced an LS w/ t3t4e at 12 psi, and he pulled on me pretty quick. I'm bone stock.
These were also highway runs.
Noone said the teggie CANT WIN - most of us said that if the camaro guy wasn't lying about his mods, and didnt drive like an idiot, the teggie would probably lose. If he's lying about his mods, which none of us would have any clue, then there's no arguement

I honestly don't expect to have a 4cyl pull up to me nowadays UNLESS it's turbo. And shit, I know more guys with turbo Honda's than I do with stock, AND modified v8s.
If a 4cyl beats me I wont go, "NO WAY I JUST LOST TO A 4CYL!!!"
I'll go, "I wonder how much money he wasted just to beat me when I'm bone stock?" - then I'll go (considering 90% of turbo hondas are running STOCK internals) "I've got 135k miles, how long will your stock turbo motor last?"
Now if its 400 hp, I'll go damn, nice, wonder how often he breaks trannies?

Motor swaps into tiny cars is a completely different arguement. I'm not even going to get into that, because it's pretty common sense, you throw a 200hp motor into a 1500lb car, it's going to be an evil little machine. It won't handle for shit, but it'll definately have killer 1/4 times.
I've been talking about I4's in the sense of modding the one that comes with your car, since the teggie on here, and the camaro both have their original motors..
Anyhow, in SPO there's a thread called "small motors," go read that for other ideas on small motors.
I've heard a million times people love the "challenge" that comes with making a FWD 4cyl fast, do I think that's a stupid reason to buy a 4cyl? Yes. Why? Because it's ALREADY difficult enough, and unlikely for most people to hit 10s or 11s, why would you gimp yourself even more, and have to open your wallet 10x wider, to do it with a 4cyl FWD (notice the FWD, Sti's and Evo's and GSXs and 240's are a totally different nature IMO)?
I'm not some OMG V8S R THE R()X()R guy by any means. I'd take a turbo V6 or I6 over my, or any v8 for that matter, ANYDAY.
My dream car is a 300zx TT, then a 98+ TA. (affordable dream car of course)
I AM on the other hand the most anti-FWD person in the world. I think FWD is the biggest and cheapest shortcut any manufacturer could possibly choose to do.
Believe me, if you told me about a RWD h22a'd hatch, I'd be like.. holy shit, cool.

I would never be so brave as to buy an old muscle car from them and expect it to be a daily driver off the lot, If I did I would be a complete fool, I would buy a car from them as a project car.

I look at AWD not for good launches but for better handling, drive an AUDI with quattro and then tell me how cheap and horrid it is, you can never NOT recover a AWD from a slide

If you think you will your a fool, hell go look on ebay and see what you can get for their prices.... besides, like I said before in short your buying a rolling chassis that may/may not have a good body and a motor with potential your not buying a regular used car/daily driver.
