and I would just like to say that the dumb teg is going to be loseing some money.

 

I have to disagree, 40-50 year old beetles are still sleepers. At least around here.

 

I haven't driven it but a MKIII Supra fitted with a 350 sbc and 4L80 I would definetly consider a sleeper!

 

I really think the whole "its a 4cyl its not supposed to beat an 8" is a little old.

I honestly don't expect to have a 4cyl pull up to me nowadays UNLESS it's turbo. And shit, I know more guys with turbo Honda's than I do with stock, AND modified v8s.

If a 4cyl beats me I wont go, "NO WAY I JUST LOST TO A 4CYL!!!"

I'll go, "I wonder how much money he wasted just to beat me when I'm bone stock?" - then I'll go (considering 90% of turbo hondas are running STOCK internals) "I've got 135k miles, how long will your stock turbo motor last?"

Now if its 400 hp, I'll go damn, nice, wonder how often he breaks trannies?

 

One of those was in autotrader for 3500 last month.

right now my tranny is all fucked up, i can barley get it in gear because my syncros are bad. it needs to be rebuilt and get lsd.
but it is still the original trans.

 

I blew a tranny in both of my Preludes, and a motor in my h23a'd one.

Had my fbody 105k to 135k, put 30k on it in a little over a year, and have had 2 problems, the heat shield rattles, and i need a new thermostat.

My prelude tranny felt like a pretzel stick compared to the T56 I've got now, I dont think I could break this if I tried. Now 450+ hp, sure.

 

the trannys on hondas are so damn tiny. i need a bulit proof trans.

does anyone know were i can get something like that?

 

It's at a shitty dealership about 5 minutes from my house.

 

Yeah, get rid of the Honda.
