2008 AWD Battle
Maybe they don't look as great as they used to, but they all pack a mean punch. Which one packs the biggest punch, and looks good doing it?
Evolution X MR
Specs- 2-liter turbo engine, 295hp, 300 ft/lbs tq
6-speed auto-clutch manual(GSR model is 5-spd manual)
3400 lbs curb weight
WRX STI
Specs- 2-liter (2.5 pending) turbo engine, 295hp, 299 lft/lbs tq
3200 lbs curb weight
R32
Specs- 3.2 liter V6 engine, 250hp, 236 ft/lbs tq
6 speed auto clutch
3547 lbs curb weight
All three under $40k, 5-sec. 0-60mph time range, and AWD of course.

Re: 2008 AWD Battle
I wouldn't consider the Evo X based on looks alone. It's super ugly to me.
The R32 definitely isn't up to the performance level of either of the other cars, but I'm sure it's the best ride/most refined. The VR6 is a great engine and is a blast to beat on (I used to own a R32).
I really like the wagon STI. The fender flares look good and I love the headlights. The chrome/aluminum trim is a bit overkill, though. I'm sure it'll scoot and should be fairly reliable when driven hard.
