I liked the new Sti when I first saw it. The new Evo still hasn't grown on me.

 

It looks that way on paper, but so did the mk4 R32. With a 3400lb R32, I was able to run 13.6 second quarter miles times. Not too shabby for a stock 3400lb car with only 250hp.

 

Every MK4 R32 iv ever ran into was slower than my car. Now, im sure driving had something to do with it but then again it wasnt even close.

They werent stock either, all three having turbo backs and they were chipped (accourding to the drivers).

But that beside the point....given the competition, its an underpowered pig. Its competition is more like the WRX not the STI or EVO X.

 

Turbo backs? I don't think you're talking about R32s.

evo, but only with a better front end available. sti looks wack, and i love vw's, but not the new ones.

It was the drivers, not the cars.

A chip and exhaust doesn't give a whole lot of power to an R32. 10hp or so.

Your WRX is a underpowered pig. The reason it's compared to the STI/Evo is because of it's price. The R32 is a much nicer car than the others. It's just not as fast.
