Did I say they were slow? well yea. I think they are slow. A new Z06 is the way to go. IDC what a budget is or what you're looking for.

I like the Evo's both old and new I just thought that the fact that they even have a website like this is funny:

http://www.mitsubishisucks.com/cars/...in/lancer.html

I have no problem with the Evo I just don't like the owners that think their car is the fastest car in production.....not everyone has this mentality though.
My favorite is the Evo IX. I think I am probably the only one that loves the way the new one looks.

But.....since I am a "SubieChik" I must vote for the new STI....I think the look will grow on some people just like I am sure the new Evo X will too.

Where the fuck do you see ZO6 in that poll? Your talkin about a $50,000+ price difference, a car that most people cant afford, and thats not even close to comparable to this list.

GTFO.

This is an AWD comparison. Now if you had said Audi or something of that nature, you wouldnt look so much like an idiot. But then again your SN fits the way you post.

You obviously don't know much about evos if you recognize them for just a "shitty clutch" (stock ones are garbage, I'll admit, but who really keeps a stock clutch?), and a shitty transmission (which I've never had issues with, nor the other 7-10 evo owners I've known/met). Where do you get your facts from buddy?

And fyi, you just lost a ton of credibility with your previous statements.
hahaha,im glad I dont have a car right now,so I could say "I dont have a vehicle" instead of saying "I drive a POS accord".shit the hmmwv's I drive over here, have more balls than your evo ever did.Atleast when I step on the gas,and the boost kicks in,I dont have to worry about it being a DSM and falling apart.

I know enough about evo's to never buy one,as well as a DSM period.and Who buys a car just to make a clutch replacement, their first real mod??? last time I checked, people want to do mods that arent related to something getting ready to break, not replacing something, because they scared it might.Thats a punk ass mitsubishi for you..shitty engineering.

You have been proved wrong by 4 random evo owners on the board, and yet you're still talking?

I do have a POS accord, and I'm not afraid to admit it. I don't need anything fancy to get from point A to point B.

And fyi, an evo is not a DSM. Please refer to previous posts from people with experience to answer your nonsensical statements.

I had an Evo and had no problems out of it whatsoever except the clutch. Granted I bought the car used with 9k miles and the clutch started slipping only a few days after I got it. So who knows what the previous owner had done to it. So I replaced the clutch, got a good install of the clutch, and I never ever had problems with the tranny, t-case, clutch, or gears. I've had a few hefty launches but not many because I never raped the car. All in all I ran with an upgraded clutch, full TBE, and a boost controller at 21 psi and never had one issue out of her.

The evo clutch really isnt all that bad that some make it out to be. Those cars a very tough to launch properly, factor in shitty driving ability, it adds up to a clutch upgrade pretty quickly. I know quite a few modded evos still on the stock clutch. Now obviously they're less than 400whp.

Another main reason for a weaker clutch is to protect other things, such as transmission and/or transfer case; which is very expensive to replace.

Check out DCEvoClub.com, the local evo forum and you will be surprised at what you learn.

edit: Then again, I could be talking out of my ass and sending you to a gay porn site.
