Last week I drove to Michigan and took the dreaded PA/OH turnpike. All I can say is Ohio makes VA state trooper presence look laughable. I swear every 10 miles there was a trooper blatantly standing outside his patrol car with radar gun in hand. Their patrol cars are white and have big old fashioned light bars up top. You can see them a mile away if you are paying attention. Speed limit was 65 and twice a car passed me in the fast lane and a few miles down the road they were pulled over.
1. In an economically depressed state like Ohio, extra revenue will be generated by law enforcement.
2. Any holiday you NEVER speed or set your cruise 20 over or whatever. Cops are pissed to be working and will happily hand out tickets.
3. You may do a little better if you speak well in court, look the judge in the eye, dress nicely, and have an otherwise clean record.
4. Never come on vadriven asking for "help" with a speeding ticket.

You better hope that they send you to court in Ohio, which is where they should anyway...Virginia being a Commonwealth will quickly make an example out of you...With the economy struggling like it is I doubt they will throw you in Jail because you will be another mouth to feed. Jail now is reserved for the lowest of low 
They may send you to J-hall for a day or two just to scare you.
Don't expect to get your license back anytime soon!!! When you do go to the court be straight up with the judge...Many of them respect that but no guarantees.

I don't think the cops in Ohio probably have much to do except catch speeders. There isn't a lot going on in Ohio from what I hear. I can't say for sure, I've never felt the need to go there.

haha wow man fuck it obviously most of you dont have shit better to do then run your fucking mouths. I SAID 2 FUCKING TIMES I KNEW I WAS GOING 85 AND I SAID I WAS NOT PAYING ATTENTION TO MY SURROUNDINGS im not fucking making excuses and im not gonna fucking tell the judge i was arguing or creeped. I should have just fucking asked can they charge me with virginia laws instead of giving all the fucking details. AND I DONT GIVE A FUCK HOW I SOUND OR SPELL ON A MOTHER FUCKING FORUM WHO THE FUCK IS GRADING ME ON IT. well you did fuck up big time. i'd get your own lawyer and try to fight it the best you can cause you'll prolly end up doing a weekend or something in juvy since you said your a minor.
