its all on how you present your case. if your scared you will get jail time for it, then you probably will. get a mind set that its not a big deal and go to court with" im going to beat this" and you probably wont get the book thrown at you. because you haven't had your license long.they have been known in ohio to go lean on rookie drivers.just apologize for your immature actions, tell them it wont happen again and you plan on changing your driving habits.
i got caught in North Carolina about 2 years ago in a 911 doing 120 the cop came racing by me at nearly 95mph and i walked him down from the speed limit.(unmarked ss camaro)i got improper driving.so you cant expect to get nailed or you just might.good luck

 

i dunno bout OH but i know va is strict as shit. and i gotta reckless in 05 for goinh 92 in 55 on the bay bridge tunnel. (stupid i know) i went to court and everyone told me to watch out for this female judge and she walked in. they changed my room to this dude judge. i got 235 dollar fine and drivin suspended for 30 days. i got lucky as shit and had to go to fallon for 30 days.. hope and pray. that's all i can say cuz your probably fucked. they changed the laws here. they should take you to OH though. like the guy said earlier, the cop has to be there.

When you go to court ask the officer to show record of the gun being calibrated that day. If he can't then you may get off with nothing. If he can then um, refer to astroglide and ky posts above
