I was pointing out that you could get an '05 C6 when it first came out for MSRP or less from the high volume Vette dealerships(Les Stanford, Kerbeck, Maxie Price ...), not just now. That is why I said when the C6 was released. That would be comparable to the GT500 release today.

Corvette allocation is based on the previous years Vette sales so some dealerships get none or one while others get hundredes. These high volume Vette dealerships sell at MSRP or less even for the release of a new model like the C6 or C6 Z06 you just have to call then up and get on their list. So it sounds like there in no equivlent for SVT sales.

Then you may be getting extras from dealerships that didn't meet Ford's compliance agreement or some sort of certification other dealerships had to go through to sell the car. Glad to hear you're getting 5 though, that should be an extra $50K-$100K profit for your dealership. Make them throw you a stripper party with some of the extra.

as we've known it for the last 13 years yes, but as far as the people involved and what they intend to build, not by a longshot.

Originally, Ford did plan to end SVT. They were statements such as, "You may see SVT tuned suspension on some future models, but no SVT vehicles". But I think recently Ford announced SVT will be sticking around, just cutting back.
