Sadly enough, the Pinto is in better shape than the Marauder.

and incase you can't read (the illeterate jokes seem to be true), I said I do think the calibration could be off as every mustang I have seen makes higher nubmers than ours (except dave buschur's)

I'm glad to know you have lots of experience watching cars on the dyno.

My experience comes from actually USING dynos and tuning cars on them

Have you ever noticed Buschur Racing doesnt put out thier Dyno numbers but AMS puts out thiers? Who was first into the 8's in an Evo and/or DSM? Buschur (and the Mustang Dyno). Im just saying you cant claim tech error if it isnt tech error. Today when i get to the shop ill get on the horn with mustang and see if they cant come take a look. Its almost dumbass proof too...they give a long, long ass list of cars to pull information from. so HP at 50mph, max wieght, etc. is all there. So im interested to know what proper numbers youre talking about and why you say there is so much assuming going on. PM me please.
I've seen plenty of mustang dynos read correctly. It seems like vishnu, dyno inc, and buschur are the only ones that can't get it right.

jsut because a car runs 8s doesn't mean they are experts at every piece of electronic equipment. I know guys with 7 second cars that can't operate a computer well enough to even sign up on dragva or even use the internet for that matter.

you cant always add 15% to your numbers, then you end up with estimates. You cant brag about estimates. Why the hell would these Mustang dynos not measure the ACTUAL HP? having an error of 15-20% is unaccpectable, it sucks to tell you the truth. Just added 15% isnt your actual HP.
gear doesn't matter. If the numbers are entered correctly in the computer, it doesn't matter. some dynos even calculate the gear automatically so it doesn't matter on them either.

wow, 3hp! probably was just a cool breeze at the time of that pull.. do you actually think 3 is significant enough to matter? I'd like to see a car consistant enough to actually give a shit about 3hp.

Now I do know some cars don't have these, for example SRT-4's, so therefore depending on shop will dyno them in either 3 or 4. Which 3rd gear ones will read lower, and 4th gear ones will read higher. You could dyno-tune a car in 3rd but if someone is paying for numbers and you're still doing it in 3rd they are not getting what they paid for. Which is obviously what happened to Jon.
you fail math and readign comprehension. Go buy yourself hooked on phonics and come back and read this when you learn how: GEAR DOESNT MATTER, THE COMPUTER CALCULATES IT FOR YOU

so who's next?

Anyways, I'm in no way talking shit about the guys at Dyno inc, they seem nice from what i've seen/heard... but something definitely is wrong, in either the calibration, or the settings, or something. the behavior people are seeing is NOT normal for a mustang dyno.
