You got that right.. that's one thing the state dosen't play about when it comes to dealers....

Also.. be careful with carfax, i've had issues with them also with false information.. You can have info on Carfax removed, but it takes so long.
Use them only as a "tool" not law. If there is a flaw in the report, it gives you something to question the dealer about, but not to affirm simply from reading. You can get an idea of what kind of dealer it is in how they answer your question.

Example, I was selling a 2000 Dodge Dakota 4X4 this year with only 18,000 original miles. Carfax gets their info from different agencies and one said the truck had 185,000 miles (clearly a misprint), I sent in a form and they changed the info. But, you can imagine what I went through with the person that was buying the truck. Luckily the person saw that I wasn't shady and continued to deal with me through it all.

the basic point is that just because someone is selling something, its the BUYER that has the ultimate responsiblity of determining if the item in question is authentic or worth the price. that whole eye of the beholder thing comes to mind....

i crack up when morons buy something, get fucked, and dont realize it. i have never bought something that i didnt know at least a little bit about first, and did research on.

never buy a car from an unreputable place, never go off of just the info provided from the seller, and never buy until its checked out by YOUR mechanic. CARFAX isnt the most accurate thing either, we have had a few cars come through the lot that have had paint work all around the whole car, and nothing came up on the CARFAX. We disclose everything we know about a car, but alot of dealers dont.

whats your reasoning? cause we sell quite a few cars through them, and never have had any issues

i am curious to see if we are branded a shady dealer for selling through autotrader.

I take back my statement and revise it to my local area since I don't know everyones status. I've been to look at quite a few of the local dealerships that deal with Autotrader, and ALL that I have went to try to sell their biggest hunks of shit through Autotrader because they are in need of getting it off the lot. So by placing the ad they kill two birds with one stone, not only do they have more people coming to look at the POS that they can't sell, but if the shopper doesn't want it they're still in the market for a car/truck and are at a dealership, so they still can make another sale. I actually met and dated a girl that was a salesperson from one of these places.

After all those guy are looking out. There letting him turn the car in or trade it in for something else. I guess it was a big misunderstanding becasue it was diferent on his buyers order.Come to find out that sometimes carfax shit is misleading

exactly my point, if u arent smart enough to research a car and check over the ENTIRE CAR inside and out, shit even do a compression test, then if u get fucked over its your fault not someone elses. yes some dealerships do.do things to hide stuff and some dealership dont see things wrong with cars that we may see so its TOTALLY up to the BUYER to FULLY inspect the car BEFORE doing any paperwork, simple point blank.
