hmmmm although some of you have ruled out the possibility that it was a sonic boom from a jet, that would really be the only thing it could be, and any other time that it has happend that's what it was, especially since this isnt an area over any active plates.......A science teacher I know was talking to my dad about it not too long ago, I dont live where you all are, so I didnt feel anything, but just reading what you all put, that's what I would think it was

I got off of a private jet that landed in Newport News jet airfield, and I noticed military jets. I didn't know what the hell was going on.. now I do.
I seen one flying not too long ago also, pretty cool.
