I didn't get the tire for my bike. It was a buddies R6. I don't need your approval to justify how I spend my money. I will gladly continue to support the local shops. You continue to be a cheap ass.

Online store with a warehouse = buys tires in bulk and stores them.
Local shop = buys tires because they are popular to have some in stock, or because a customer ordered them.

Who do you think is gonna get the better pricing from the manufacturer/distributer? After that, who is gonna be able to give you a better price? This is true for almost ANYTHING. Even my employee price on car tires wasn't close to what tirerack.com had them for on my old car. Also, did Casey offer to mount and balance them for free or discounted rate for buying them from them? I know some places will give free mount and balancing if you buy from them. You buy online and you pay for mount and balance.

I don't claim to know Casey's situation, but you can't fault them for doing what they have to do. I GAURUNTEE you that the online stores are getting the tires for way less than Casey is.
