dui is an automatic license loss

 

Baby DUI (under 21) license forfeiture is 6 months, and a fine of less then $500.

 

sucks man...i would have just said it wasn't me.

 

i did say it wasnt me, and im sure i wasnt goin that fast.... but ive definitely learned by now, "tell it to the judge" no use in arguin with the cop...... hopefully the judge will dismiss it on account that he couldnt even identify my car when he was right next to me at the light.

 

Unfortunately...no. One important law that cops do not enforce all the time is the truth! VT 453 hit it right on the head too so your lucky in that aspect! The cop is going to tell his version of the story in court and to save face in front of the judge. If he told them it happened how you described he would he would have his ass laughed out of court. The judge will take the cops word 99% of the time unless you have indisputable evidence. (Innocent till proven guilty= bullshit). Im sorry this happened to you but the cop had to catch someone.

 

thats why i wanna find that twankln guy.....cuz he could also say that the cop pulled right up to the light with me and sat there...... SO WHO KNOWS HIM?????

 

It is odd that it happened that way, and I dont think i totally understand the whole situation. Did he actually talk to people at the stop light, then come and stop you?

 

yeah, first he asked when the first time i saw him was, and i told him when he came up to the light with us... then he asked how fast i was going and i told him ~50 but i wasnt lookin at my speedo cuz i was drivin in traffic.... then he said, well those people back there said you were the one haulin ass down prices fork.... seems like he asked them because he couldnt identify my car himself. plus only one person at the light saw me haulin ass... the blue civic twankln can he really give me a ticket like that when he didnt even know which car he was clockin?

 

maybe you should chill with the "racing" on prices fork. there may not be cops on prices fork all the time but when they are they always have their radar guns out.

 

maybe he's just looking for "answers to his questions".
