Why? This costs more, but..

it has 320 hp in 99', where as a GT in 99 had 220, and it has a handbuilt engine, with a 1000 rpm higher redline. Mach 460 audio, and all the other nice stuff that goes with SVT.

Thanks for all the compliments on the car guys. It'll be totally weird w/o it for sure. i've been driving it since I was 15, doing laps around my driveway awaiting my b'day. If I was rich I'd keep it, but I'm just another poor college student that likes fast cars, so I can't have more than one at this point in my life.

ENNNNHHH wrong...220, in 2001 they changed to 260

Wes, Yeah, there will still be mods, but not like a 3 week, weld your own, turbo kit or other welded junk..lol.

It's a stang, I'll just buy and bolt on

uhmmm....Nick, im still right 1999+ model GT mustangs come with 260hp and 302tq. The 225hp GT mustang was the 1998 and earlier models. 99 mustang cobras come with a quoted 320hp, but they dyno'd much less, forcing SVT to stop making them an entire year while it fixed the already produced cobras.

Yea but you can have that fixed by the dealer, or patched up rather.

True. it was a free fix from the dealers. I believe it had to do with a better intake manifold and exhaust. Make sure nick if you grab a 99 it has the paperwork verifying it was done.
