Ok so I'm used to the NY way of doing things and just wanted to figure out if anythings different in VA. My registration is up in a week (my car is already registered in VA, but the dealer did it for me), so do I just have to take my car to a mechanics to get it inspected and thats it?

 

Pretty much, but make sure it's a mechanic that is certified to it. If your car isn't modded and your brakes/lights are good you prolly won't have any problem passing.

 

bring it by me at work..South Main Auto Service..and i will look at it for ya. if it passes...15 bucks. if not.....sory..i dotn do ?able inspections....it was hard enough to get the liscense..and the hassle of keeping it....see me, though, and i will try to help.
