Thanks, yea I saw that Cobra, what kind of times were you guys gettin?

 

He went an 8.01 at 90-91mph was his best pass. All on 17" radials and his 60 fts never came out of the 2.xx's, so he was pretty pleased. A set of tires and it should be a solid mid 7's car.

whats up...i was there too...nice car garn...i saw ur front corner of ur hood shakin like hell when you launched...i was like well hell...but i was runnin crappy times in my red 99 trans am...i got like 8.9s runnin at 80mph...i was thinkin same thing bout some of those cars runnin like 9's at 70 some mph...my problem is i dont have rear-end gears for my cam i put in...powerband starts at like 3500 and pulls to 6800...once i get gears i should run alot better...but yeah i saw quick ta also...looked nice...sounded mediocre when he left...but good runs garn.

Sounds like you may have some other issues as well, maybe tuning or something simple. I had a stock LS1 that went 8.50's consistantly at a similar MPH in stock trim. Maybe get it tuned but none the less, its a good lookin car.

Scott-dont forget this track is almost half a second slower then most around here, namely due to the traction issues. should be good to go next year though

 

well im sure it does have tuning issues...its on a stock tune...stock i pulled 8.7s at NB. i am going to take it to a shop in maryland i think to have it tuned once i get longtubes, intake manifold, and gears...might wait until i have heads too t im not sure...but it does look decent lol

 

Nice times and yea my hood is shaking!?!?! lol I know what its from, my damn wastegate is hitting the bottom of my hood.. thought I had it fixed, guess not...
