I thought about it I haven't been to the track yet but I'am still gonna wait for the shootout nextweekend at natural bridge when I have some extra goodies

 

Well it was a nice night, didn't know if those mustang people showed up considering it was mustang shootout and there were a million of them, but I saw that "QUICK TA" car..

looked nice, had some meaty tires out back, didn't see it run though..

I couldn't break into the 8's ran four 9.1's at 78 back to back..

 

didnt you run that at low psi and shitty tires... sorry was at work when you called. give me a ring again

I am tuned very rich b/c I am a pussy on only 7 psi.. I datalogged it(or according to some of the spectators that didn't know the first thing about cars, I was playing solitaire on the laptop) and I was around the tune of 11.2 AFR on the average.. that and I was runnin 35 psi on my street tires, 2.3 60 ft's haha..

I got pissed when I saw a mustang GT run a 9 flat at like 70.3 mph haha.. Enough of the excuses though, I just couldn't get in the 8's, maybe next time I will have it tuned a bit better and lower tire pressure to like 20ish, maybe even turn up the boost for one run..

There was also a nice baby blue hatch there, talked to the guys for a few.. he was runnin 10 psi on a stock gsr motor, he was havin traction problems as well, ran like 9 flat at like 82 mph with like a 2.6 60 ft lol, he had no traction, nice car though

My g/f's car was the sliver 3g eclipse that was loud as balls, it had a cutout hehe, and it really affected the torque curve so it was hard to launch, either bogged or burned out, hard to get used to, but we could only get a 9.8 with a 2.5 60 ft, I know it has a 9.5 in it..

 

Get that 60 foot down! ...what kind of tires are you running?

 

I just got new ones, my old ones were some shitty no name brand tires haha..

Now I have BFG G-Force Sports, they grip pretty good, don't even spin from a roll, but from a stop is a different story..

I have a 2 step rev limiter, I think I just needed to lower the tire pressure to like 20 or so.. I lowered it one run but didn't have a gauge, and after I decided that was enough someone let me use their gauge and I only lowered it to 35 psi(had it like 40) lol..

And since the track I actually got an air filter, an Uni pod filter, some people on the honda-tech forums said they picked up some hp with these filters compared to mesh door screen over the turbo like I had, because of the huge difference in surface area, and I had doubled up on mesh screen haha..
