Shelor drag strip
Thanks bro, howd you know it was my Bday? And no, I promise no nutsack cleavage this year.
Its not too hard, the velocity is changed into two components, where the vertical component would take away some of the velocity from the horizontal, not to sound technical, I just was saying that 2* incline would reduce your speed 3% right from the start. I originally thought the incline was DURING the 1/8th, thats what I was confused about.

ok, before I get flammed for bringing back a 2 year old post....i just did what everybody says and searched before for I posted. And since this is the topic I'm posting about why make another "shelor dragstrip" forum.....
Now that the b/s is out of the way, Im guessing the rumors will be true about Shelor dragstrip going to 1320. My roommate has a buddy that works at Shelors and has recently been given the job to sell Hagan's previous drag car. While hearing that we dug up this link http://www.ihra.com/article/1820.html . Now correct me if I'm wrong (I know im not) but you cannot run a top fuel funny car in the 1/8th mile, and since daddy is rich I'm assuming Shelor's will be rennovating over the winter into a 1/4 mile dragstrip. I know they don't want to keep going to Thunder Valley or Richmond to test and tune that thing. So by all means, bring on the 1/4 mile Hagan.
