I've seem to have pretty g/l w/ my type s thus far but as i go up in boost everything tends to become an issue...right now can't stop eating plugs....so it never sees high boost right now...

You were told to leave it alone

The RS is a decent BOV, but the diaphram is junk and won't hold higher boost levels for too long. Ask me how I know.

What are you using for ignition? Using Hondata or stock ecu similar?

What fuel are you using and at what boost levels?

I was tuned on Neptune which i like a lot but since have went back to a crome tune for the event approaching b/c of lack of tuning $ for a Richmond trip.. ran 110 mixed w/ 93 and tuned on ngk bkre? heat range 6 i know for fact...I've been to 8s which are 2 steps colder but faul them out with in a 17 psi pull..bought some 7 ngk heat range..fouled them as well...I seem to have better luck w/ the 6s which is a stock Honda plug from advance ..tuned to go to 25 psi on mixed fuel but hadn't been able to get past 18-20 since being home from the dyno...it sux..but i have had the best luck w/ the 6 heat range...matt tuned me on 8s which worked well but that was only a street tune on 10 psi..idno i'm going broke buying plugs..oh I have crane ignition w/ msd coil and cap..i have replaced the button already ..my friend tells me i need to replace the cap b/c he had a similar issue....

How rich is the car running? I've been tuning a friends 2.0 gsr at ~14psi, with mid to low 11's and have no issues...stock ignition.

Obviously the mixed fuel is going to contribute to some fouling, but how many miles are you getting on your plugs? Does it just start having WOT misfire issues or just plain fouls and kills a cylinder?

I had an issue with my car, could only get about 5-800 miles on a set of plugs before I'd get misfires. Changed up to a way hotter ignition, have 1500+ so far on the one set, and they still hold 32-34psi every now and then with no issues. (knock on wood)

BTW, my plugs are only 8 bux a set, ha!

yeah i understand the mixed fuel contributing to the foul, but it was fine when tuning on mixed w/ the oem ngk 6 plugs..which i have the BEST results from... @ a .025 and the others just foul ....now yes the fouling is only occurring under WOT on all plugs including the 6s on high... My car's best bet to see a high boost pull is w/ the heat range 6 plugs they take longer to foul...but as for normal driving ..the plugs work fine...ngk 7s,8s,auto lites 3923 all foul below 17 psi under WOT..idno..my friend told me i ought to replace the msd cap..i've already tried a ton of plugs and have replaced the button, tried different wires...i was gonna go with the cheapest 1st being the cap then check the coil next...and yeah my plugs are 8.68 from advance..but x that by 8-10 times....eeerrrrrrrrrr....and my car is mid 11s on a/f

When they "foul" does the car misfire under wot?

Do you have a wideband in the car right now, or just going what the dyno o2 said?

I also assume your running your 17 lbs on a mix, or just 93? If you were tuned on the dyno at 25 psi, did the tuner map the rest of the boost levels as well?
