Hopefully there will be other SUVs out there to play with - not Dodge trucks... (RT!!!)

But I don't intend to bring a knife to a gunfight, if I can help it.


What do most of the cars run at these events - lots of 8s? Some 7s, a few 6s? Just curious

 

there will be a dodge durango rt out there and perhaps a 1500 guy lives down the street from me is bringing his pick'em up..

and yeah your about right see some 7s out there i know of a one 4.88 camaro and a few mustangs in low 7s high 6s...hondas/imports range from the 7s on up...i'd like to see something quicker on the import side come out to play...there will be a 800 supra if i'm not mistaken not to mention marshall's skyline and so forth...I have spoke to some of those guys @ the Va.Tech car club...they have some nice vehicles...are you the truck that marshall fabbed the manis for?

You're thinking of the RT, that's one bad truck... Not me though. Who knows what it'll run, but I guarantee it's way out of my league.

I'm just looking to bring something different, but relatively fast, so hopefully it'll surprise some people...That is, if their car runs slower than about an 8.0

I'd like to bring the Supra out, seeing as it's already got drag radials, but I can't drive two cars at once, and it's too pristine now to risk anything happening to it.

Don't worry, you're safe, doesn't like like I'm gonna be able to make it. I'll know for sure tomorrow, but it looks like I'm going to get extended out here, probably won't be home till around Halloween.

But I want a run when I get back, I'll leave the bottle off and even go on my DR's on heavy stock wheels

 

Hahah, nah they aren't bad, but I was never into the styling vs. the SRT8s I also like that the SRT8s have brembos, bilstein suspension, and sick wheels, or and nav and rear dvd.

That'd be really fun. I'm definitely down for it. Do you run your truck in 2wd? What does it make all motor ~450-475whp? I think this jeep will be high 300s, maybe 400whp. We'll see. I plan to get it dyno tuned to get the most out of it soon.

 

Yup, my truck is only 2WD. Not sure what it makes to the wheels yet, it'll go on the chassis dyno and get tuned when I get back, hoping for high 400's (the engine dyno that it was on reads a lil low, it's more like 610-620hp).

 

i'll come up there and bring some ppl if i can get the teg runnin right. gotta get new bov.
