I actually used to have a miniature red Swingline stapler at my old office. It was such a big hit that some f-ck stole it!

 

I would take a shot at trying to beat this in court. Many times the officer doesn't even show up. Yes the car is technically illegal, but the trooper was wrong in saying you have removed the mufflers. In no where does it mention on the ticket that the resonators were removed, just "no mufflers". In court, if the resonator's are mentioned and the fresh pipe, simply tell them that you backed onto a curb and damaged the piping and had to get it replaced. The piping is still the same size. I personally would be pissed if ANYONE called me a liar, let alone a trooper. You never lied, the car comes stock without mufflers, get a certified document from Dodge stating the obvious. What's the worst that could happen? You'd have to pay the 25-30.00 fine for the exhaust and court costs anyway if you lost. This doesn't go against your liscense as far as points cause its not a moving violation. I say fuck it, chance the system because you would have a good defense. I haven't heard a 04 SRT in person, but aren't their exhaust notes farely noticable stock?

 

Not as loud as when your dump is open, but yes.. they're noticeable..

the SRT4 does not come with mufflers he is telling the truth, i know half of you know that, if not half a good majority of you know that, just go to the dealership and get documents stating that your car indeed comes from the dealer without mufflers, you can beat it......

Just get the dealer to get you a document and get broschures and pics ect of th erear with no muffler. This is a easy win
