Nezir vs Willie @ natural bridge.
Nezir didnt show up as expected but incase anybody wanted to know qwkcoupe's brother has a fox with a cam, gears and nitrous , car went 7.70 at 92 mph on 235/60/15 drag radial with a 1.88 60ft .......air fuel was 11.2 , so the car still has more in it , but I didnt wanna lean it out anymore to give him more power because it was at the point that the tires wouldnt have hooked with anymore power ..........

i run a shop in Floyd, in case you didnt notice by now.
its called multi tasking man. you should try it sometime. generally, between answering the phone, ordering parts, writing estimates, diagnosing cars, and dealing with customers, i am at my computer for a decent amount of time during the day doing work, so i do that whole ALT+TAB deal and switch between windows. it makes my day when someone gets all butthurt over a mild comment that wasnt even directed toward them
i totally agree with you on some certified techs give a bad name, but that patch means alot to some customers. i have several that come to my shop cause they know me and my techs are good, if not the best in our county.
you may want to ask around before knocking what an L1 means. L1 is the next step up over being a Master tech. its Advanced Engine Performance.
so i presume that since you have the parts specialist certs, you work in a parts store?
dickhead? i have been called that a time or two, mostly smartass is what most people call me
actually, no. i do still do oil changes when needed, but i mostly do electrical and driveability diagnostics when i am not doing the management shit.
you didnt look at the exhaust apparently. if you have ever worked on or tuned a WRX, you will know what i am talking about (the downpipe on them stock is the main restriction, and having a catalyst in the uppipe is the immediate death to the stock turbo over stock boost levels.)

Yea HMT is a pretty good resource, some very creative/smart people on there I must say...
As for the comment about being above 14 psi or it not being worth it, that doesn't make any sense, as if psi were a measurement of power?

whats the point? i know you are getting more power and all...but to be honest, a good engine build will increase the fuck out of the power capability of that same setup.
my main thing i dont care for much is that people will go to all the trouble to do a turbo install on a car, and dont do a damn thing else to the engine, only to have it last a short period of time and then blow cause it wasnt done right in the first place.
to each their own though, its your money, not mine.
and 2002BLGT, this is just for you and QWKCOUPE:

Yea I agree, but it depends on the engine.. the B18a/b's seem to be the hot shit right now(ls integra motor), people are pushin 10 psi on the street, and around 15ish when they wanna have fun, makin around 300 whp on the stock block, and it seems to be pretty reliable.. my motor is pretty similar to the b18's I guess you could say, I'm just to much of a pussy to push it that far

If its tuned well, 90% of the honda setups could push 10 psi reliable, thats a pretty good jump in power too..
There is this one H22 on honda-tech with like 450 whp on the stock block, I THINK its still running too hehe.. its all in the tune it seems..
